Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko's diversion of a civilian airliner to arrest two critics brings into focus the harsh crackdown that is under way in the former Soviet republic. At least 400 political prisoners, including 35 journalists, are jailed. Freedom of the press is practically non-existent. As Lukashenko embraces Vladimir Putin and repression, how will the West collectively respond?
