Tana de Zulueta, the head of the OSCE ODIHR mission, said local elections in Ukraine generally went in an organized manner. However, she advised to improve the electoral legislation in the country.

At a press conference in Kyiv on Monday, Tana de Zulueta said she believes the elections were well-organized and transparent. However, the complexity of the legislation, the domination of powerful groups and commercial ads emphasize the need for further improvement of the electoral process, she said.
