Alcatel-Lucent ALU, a provider of networking and communications technology, products and services, and Intertelecom, a national CDMA operator in Ukraine, announced on Monday the successful completion of an Internet Protocol/Multiprotocol Label Switching-based mobile back-haul solution throughout the country.
This project, financial details of which were not available, was initially launched in 2011.
According to the companies, Alcatel-Lucent’s IP/MPLS-based mobile back-haul solution enables Intertelecom to meet current needs for scalable, cost-efficient and fully managed IP-based transport network that can also evolve and retain customers by offering a high quality consumer experience.
