Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has once again returned to the idea of creating a common grain pool of three countries: Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia, the Ukrainian prime minister's spokesman, Vitaliy Lukyanenko, said in Astana on Thursday.

"Three countries together would seize 20% of the global grain exports and we would be reckoned with," he quoted Azarov during the Ukrainian-Kazakh negotiations.

According to the Ukrainian prime minister, the three-country pool will allow Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia pursue their own pricing policy not depending on grain traders’ suggestions.
