Currently oil-and-fat industry remains the most successful in Ukraine. Thus, last year unrefined oil production was increased by 18% and its export was increased by 33% against last year. In general, 3.78 million tonnes of sunflower oil was produced in 2012 and 3.6 million tonnes were exported. This was announced by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
“Ukraine remains its world leading position in sunflower oil export. Thus, according to the 2012 data, 3.78 million tonnes of oil were produced that is 18% more against last year. Oil export has been increased considerably. In particular, Ukrainian producers have exported 3.6 million tonnes that is 33% more against previous year”, Mykola Prysyazhnyuk emphasized.
