You're reading: Cabinet of Ministers selects 41 enterprises to be audited by government

The Cabinet of Ministers has selected 41 enterprises, financial operations of which will be audited by the government's audit agencies.

This is stated in the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 506 dated May 20.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution, the enterprises on the list include the Enerhorynok state wholesale electricity enterprise, the Naftohaz Ukrainy national joint-stock company, Naftohaz Ukrainy’s subsidiaries (Ukrhazvydobuvannia, Ukrtranshaz, and Haz Ukrainy), Chornomornaftohaz, Ukrtransnafta, Ukrnafta, Ukrtatnafta, Enerhoatom, Energy Company of Ukraine, the Ukrenerho power company, the Ukrinterenerho power company, and the Ukrhidroenerho power company.

The list also includes Ukrzaliznytsia state railway administration and all its six railroads, the country’s largest seaports (Pivdennyi, Odesa, Illichivsk, and Mariupol), the Ukrposhta postal agency, the Boryspil airport, the Delta Lotsman company.

The others are the Ukrtelecom telecommunications company, the Odesa portside factory, the Ukrkhimtransamiak company, the Antonov aircraft design and construction concern, the Kharkiv state aircraft production enterprise, the Aviant aircraft factory, and several other enterprises.

The Cabinet of Ministers also determined the procedures for performing the audits.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers has ordered state monopolies to agree major procurement operations that are to be financed with funds from the state budget with the Main Audit Department.
