The Higher Economic Court of Ukraine has suspended a ruling of Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal of March 19, 2013, under which Director General of Nemiroff Ukrainian Vodka Company Alla Hlus was dismissed from his post.
Nemiroff Ukrainian Vodka Company told Interfax-Ukraine that the ruling was issued on March 19, 2013.
The next hearing of the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine in the case is scheduled for May 14, 2013.
The company said that on April 9, 2013, the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine declared illegal a meeting of participants in Nemiroff Managing Company LLC on April 26, 2011 initiated by some shareholders, as well as the decision to liquidate the company and replace its head Oleksandr Hlus.
As reported, the Economic Court in Kyiv on November 7, 2011 decided to dismiss Alla Hlus from the post of director general of Nemiroff Ukrainian Vodka Company and appoint Yuriy Sorochynsky to the post. On March 19, 2013, Kyiv Economic Court of Appeals upheld the ruling.
The conflict over the company has lasted for several years, between shareholders Yakiv Hrybov and Anatoliy Kipish and Oleksandr Hlus.
Nemiroff Holding ranks among the world’s largest hard liquors producers. Its products are supplied to 55 countries. In Ukraine it operates two distilleries in the town of Nemyriv in Vinnytsia region.
