In about face, foreign partners seek majority in UMC

KYIV, June 21 – Western investors in Ukraine's largest mobile telecoms company Ukrainian Mobile Communications (UMC) want to take a majority stake in the company by buying part of the state's shares, UMC said on Wednesday.
