ST. PETERSBURG - The tariff for transporting gas via the future Nord Stream 2 pipeline will be $2.10 per 1,000 cubic meters per 100 km, while the current Ukrainian transit tariff is $2.50, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said on June 16.
The cost of shipping gas to Germany via Nord Stream is about 37 percent lower than shipping through Ukraine, Miller said at a panel discussion on the geoeconomics of major infrastructure projects at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
