Ukraine's national debt exceeds $105 billion and could lead to a default as early as next year, said Serhiy Liovochkin, Party of Regions member of parliament and the opposition National Bank chief.
“The national debt already exceeds $105 billion. Of this amount $25 billion falls on the next year and is a corporate debt,” he said on Thursday. “This could lead to a default and all related negative procedures,” he said. “This is a default which might hit Ukraine,” the MP said.
