Novus Ukraine LLC (Kyiv), the managing company of the Novus network in the country, plans by the end of this year to open another four retail outlets, thereby expanding its network to 29 stores in the country, Novus Ukraine Director General Ihor Landa has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“I’m confident about the opening of four stores. All of the stores will be located in Kyiv,” he said.
According to him, stores are to open in Druzhby Narodiv Street, Chervonozoriany Avenue and Lomonosova Street.
Novus Ukraine is the managing company of the Novus network in Ukraine.
The first Novus store opened in Ukraine in 2008. The trade chain consists of 25 stores in the form of shopping centers, supermarkets and hypermarkets in Kyiv, Boryspil, Sevastopol, Cherkasy, Ternopil, Rivne, and Zhytomyr. In addition to its core business, the company is engaged in goods importing and distribution in Ukraine.
The Novus supermarket chain is being developed by BT Invest (Lithuania), which was set up in 2008 by former stockholders in Sandora juice producer Raimondos Tumenas and the late Ihor Bezzub.
