Carsten D. Reiher was appointed general manager of InterContinental Kyiv, the Kyiv-based hotel which is a part of the international InterContinental Hotels Group.
In his new post, Reiher will lead and train all teams, refine the commitment towards company goals and strengthen their pursuit of continued success.
Reiher joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 1989 as assistant food and beverage manager at the Crowne Plaza Heidelberg. He has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry including several previous general manager positions at InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Crowne Plaza Resort, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Resorts across Europe and the Middle East.
Over the course of his career Reiher, has opened, closed, rebranded and repositioned several world-class hotels. In 1999 he was recognized as InterContinental Hotels Group general manager of the year for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
