Igor Bilous joined Renaissance Capital, an emerging markets investment bank, as head of investment banking and finance in Ukraine and Central and Eastern Europe.
He was also appointed the firm’s co-CEO in the region.
Bilous will be responsible for managing Renaissance Capital’s investment banking and finance franchise in the region.
Bilous will also oversee the bank’s operations in the region, along with the firm’s other co-CEO.
Prior to the appointment, he was in charge of Ukrainian business at UBS Investment Bank.
He has worked on many landmark Ukrainian transactions, including Mittal Steel’s acquisition of Kryvorizhstal.
Bilous graduated from the Kyiv National University of Economics with a master’s in international economics.
He also holds a bachelor’s in international finance and accounting from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, United Kingdom.
