Taras Dumych became partner at Wolf Theiss Ukraine, a law firm with offices in 12 countries in Central and Southeast Europe.

Dumych’s principal practice areas include agriculture, energy and natural resources, corporate, mergers and acquisition, real estate and construction, private equity and litigation.

He previously worked for B. C. Toms & Co in Kyiv, where he had practiced law since 2002 and served as a partner since 2007.

Between 2000 and 2001, Dumych worked an assistant law professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where he also served as an executive director of the institution’s Legal Research Centre.

His experience also includes serving as a legal adviser and program coordinator for a USAID-sponsored project, and working as legislative assistant to a member of Ukraine’s parliament.

Dumych received his law degree from Lviv State University. He also earned a master’s in international and comparative business law from London Guildhall University.
