Kyiv-based AeroSvit Airlines and Donetsk-based Donbasaero intend to double the frequency of the flights between Ukraine and Israel in the 2010-2011 winter season, to 16 flights per week.

"The companies will carry out 16 flights per week to the capital of Israel in the winter of 2010, which is twice as many as in the winter of 2009. In particular, 13 flights to Tel Aviv will depart from Kyiv and one flight per week will depart from each of Odesa, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk," reads a press release issued by the carrier.

According to the report, this decision is connected with the signing of an intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and Israel on the cancellation of visa requirements.
