You're reading: UTair-Ukraine Airline receives Boeing 737-800

UTair-Ukraine Airline has obtained a Boeing 737-800 plane, the head of the airline's supervisory board, Karen Antonov, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

“The plane soon will be used on charter flights, including to Barcelona,” he said.

Director General Yuriy Blazhenkov said that by May 2013, the airline intends to receive another two Boeing 737-800 planes.

Blazhenkov also said that the company is waiting for a Bombardier CRJ-200 plane by the end of the current month, and it plans to expand its fleet with АТR-72-500/600 planes, which will replace its АТR-42 planes.

UTair-Ukraine was founded in September 2008. Currently UTair-Ukraine performs regular and charter flights abroad using ATR-42, ATR 72-500, Boeing 737-400, and CRJ-200 aircraft.
