Kyiv, October 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Vetek Gas Trading and Supply S.A. and Vetek Trading S.A., which core business will be trade with hydrocarbon materials, their transportation and storage, were registered in September 2013 in Geneva (Switzerland), according to a report of the company, a copy of which has been sent to Interfax-Ukraine.

The report says that the administrator of the two companies is a citizen of Switzerland, Morris Tailor, an independent consultant and a member of boards of several private Swiss and foreign trading companies.

“Vetek Trading S.A., an oil trader, and Vetek Gas Trading and Supply S.A., a gas trader [residents of the Swiss Confederation], are part of VETEK Group. The companies are trading with oil, fuel and natural gas in Western Europe,” VETEK told Interfax-Ukraine.

As reported, the VETEK Group started buying gas in Europe from March 2013. Ukrainian Petroleum Company LLC (Kharkiv), which is part of the group, buys gas.

VETEK specializes in the sale of liquefied and natural gas, and fuel. The group operates about 150 fuel stations in Ukraine, sells liquefied gas through 30 of its own and 50 partner gas stations in Ukraine, and 170 of its own gas stations (under the brand of Sparschwein) in Germany. In addition, the group owns Ukrainian Media Holding (UMH Group) and is a shareholder of Brokbusinessbank. The president of VETEK Group is Serhiy Kurchenko.
