The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey does not recognize the annexation of Crimea, and the Russian powers have finally expressed their opinion on the issue.Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Franz Klintsevich believes that the President of Turkey would not go further than "protocol" declarations in supporting Ukraine on the Crimean issue, however, in his opinion, such statements may adversely affect the Turkish-Russian relations.
