Head of Russia's Anti-corruption Foundation Alexei Navalny has filed a complaint with the country's Constitutional Court in connection with the refusal of the Court of the Tver Region to take up a lawsuit against Russian President Vladimir Putin, reported newspaper Kommersant on Sept. 14.
In particular, Navalny disputes the Tver court’s affirmation that no lawsuit can be filed against the President of the Russian Federation. According to Navalny, the president cannot be immune from legal action, whether civil or administrative.
