CHISINAU, April 20 (Reuters) - Moldova, which lies between Ukraine and Romania, said it had resumed international flights from 0730 GMT on Tuesday because the concentration of volcanic ash had lessened.
"There is less of a concentration (of ash) now. We have resumed flights to Moscow, St Petersburg, Istanbul, Rome and Budapest," Roman Toporolv, head of air traffic control authority MoldATSA, told Reuters.
Moldova closed its airspace at 0300 GMT on Saturday due to the ash cloud.
