Chisinau, April 22 (Interfax) - Moldova's ruling Alliance for European Integration has decided at a Thursday meeting to send Moldovan troops to take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9.

"This political decision – to send soldiers of the Moldovan national army to Moscow – was made at the alliance’s extraordinary meeting," Moldovan deputy parliamentary speaker Alexander Stoyanoglo told Interfax.

The leaders of four parties making up the ruling alliance instructed the government to find money and resolve all issues linked to the participation of Moldova’s soldiers in the parade, he said.

Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat also favored taking part in the parade at a meeting of the government. Filat rapped Defense Minister Vitalie Marinuta, who said that the "participation in the parade is impossible, because there is no money in the Defense Ministry’s budget for this purpose."
