A Russian spy whose fellow ring members were caught on tape bemoaning their lack of success with New York women, was sentenced on May 25 to 2 1/2 years in prison. Evgeny Buryakov received the slap-on-the-wrist sentence after pleading guilty in March to spying for the Russian Federation in New York while working for Russian state-owned bank Vnesheconombank.
