MOSCOW - Ending the sanctions war and Russia's counter sanctions is the best way to resolve the problems that arose after those sanctions were imposed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“The best way to resolve these problems is to stop this war of sanctions altogether and the countermeasures on our part,” Putin told a press conference held jointly with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in Moscow on April 8.
The head of state was responding to a question on how to resolve the problems that arose after Russia introduced its counte rsanctions in response to the European Union’s anti-Russian sanctions.
