Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Almazbek Atambayev, the leader of the Kyrgyz Republic, in St. Petersburg on March 16, the Kremlin press service said.

“The agenda of the summit negotiations will highlight the key issues of strengthening Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation, primarily in the field of trade, investment, culture, humanitarian and energy affairs,” the report said.

The sides will exchange opinions on interaction processes in the context of Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
