A Russian lawmaker has proposed a law allowing parents to vote on behalf of their children under age 18. The author of the bill, State Duma Deputy Dmitry Nosov from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, was quoted as saying on May 18 that the draft law proposes to give parents of two or three children one additional vote for each child at elections or referendums.
