The Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama, continued to briefly speak to each other on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing on Nov. 11.
“Putin and Obama continue their communication on the sidelines [of the summit],” the Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.
On Nov. 10, Putin and Obama had a brief encounter as they attended a family photo ceremony opening the APEC summit. The two leaders joined the ceremony in Beijing with a slight delay.
