The Russian State Duma has applauded the news that Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada ratified the agreement extending the Russian Black Sea Fleet's presence in Ukraine after 2017.
The ratification of this document "is apparently important not only for Russian-Ukrainian relations but also for the whole post-Soviet space," deputy chairman of the State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Andrei Klimov said.
