The border checkpoints of Gukovo and Novoshakhtinsk in Russia's Rostov oblast were closed on July 1 afternoon due to the fire in neighboring Ukraine, a regional law enforcement source told Interfax.
“Border checkpoints have been closed due to the fire in the neighboring Ukrainian territory near Ukrainian border checkpoints,” the source said.
