It is too soon to talk about the place and date of a tripartite meeting between the European Union, Russia and Ukraine over gas issues following the invitation by European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger, a European Commission (EC) spokesperson told Interfax in Brussels.
The EC welcomes the fact that Russian partners are ready to meet in
response to our initiative, but the date and place of the meeting have
yet to be agreed upon, she said, commenting on the media reports that
the meeting could be held in Brussels on April 28.
