Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry have discussed bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation within NATO, the United Nations, the OSCE and other international organizations in countering aggressive actions on the part of Russia, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on June 25.

The meeting between the two diplomats took place at NATO headquarters in Brussels on Wednesday.

Klimkin presented to Kerry a peace plan proposed by Ukrainian
President Petro Poroshenko, which enjoyed the full support of the U.S.
side.

Kerry expressed the full support of the United States for Ukraine’s
course towards European integration and the deepening of cooperation
with NATO.

Klimkin, in turn, thanked the U.S. government for actively supporting Ukraine with all possible means.

“The Ukrainian and U.S. sides agreed to continue active contacts both
bilaterally and within international organizations,” reads the report.
