Russian media have been tasked with presenting Ukrainians who came to visit their relatives in Russia as refugees, spokesman of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko has said.
“Russian state news agencies have received orders to use this
information to form a picture of ‘alleged refugees from Ukraine’ for
Russian viewers,” Lysenko said at a briefing on June 27.
