The International Monetary Fund said on Dec. 29 its next mission to Ukraine will arrive in Kyiv on Jan. 8 for more negotiations on a much-needed loan program.

During the IMF's visit in December Ukraine's Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavicius told that the government wanted the International Monetary Fund to expand its $17 billion bailout package due to Ukraine's worsened economic outlook.
