NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy welcomes European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker's statements on the resumption of trilateral gas talks between Ukraine, the European Commission and Russia, Naftogaz's press service said.
“Such an initiative will be conducive to strengthening Ukraine’s energy security and will ensure stable energy shipments to European consumers. Naftogaz is ready to participate in trilateral negotiations at any time that is convenient for all parties,” the company said.
Experience from previous trilateral talks is positive, the company said, while stressing it had fulfilled all its obligations undertaken in Brussels late in October 2014 to supply gas during winter.
