Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk expects an arbitration court in Stockholm to issue its ruling in the gas dispute between Naftogaz Ukrainy and Russian gas giant Gazprom in a year.
‘We expect that a final ruling may be issued by the court in about a year,’ he said at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York on Sept. 24.
However, Ukraine may ask the Stockholm court to speed up these proceedings if the ongoing gas talks fail in their present format, Yatsenyuk said.
