A festival for Bulgakov; Opium Beach club?s hip hop fashion party; Dynamo takes on Volyn; a rave down at the Most
e Master and Margarita,” Bulgakov’s masterpiece and what often seems like the official novel of Kyiv, will be presented in its stage version by various theater troupes from Ukraine, Russia and Poland during this three-day bash, from July 22 to July 24. A stage and 500 seats will be constructed on the summer grounds of Hostinny Dvor restaurant, in Podil. Also, movies about Bulgakov will screen on July 23 at 1 p.m. at the Podil Theater.

CLUB PARTY: Opium Beach Club R’n’B Fashion Party.

With warm winds in the air, this combination of sexy, get-down hip hop and R’n’B beats and slinky summer fashions will surely raise the mercury a notch or two higher. If the temperature and mood really peak, there’s always the river – good for a skinny dip. Free champagne will also be on offer.

CLUB PARTY: Impulse – Rave 01.

A series of summer raves at the Most begins with DJ Cosmonaut and the Radiotrance project. After touring in the West, the Radiotrance guys have been back in Russia recording new material that combines bass, drums and special effects with live flute, guitar and vocals. Even for those tired of electronic noise, this sounds like it’s worth a listen and a dance.

Dyanmo takes on Volyn (Lutsk) in the second game of the new campaign. Dynamo are still smarting from their 2-0 home loss to improved Shakhtar, but should bounce back for this contest again their lowly western rivals.
