Attention sports fans! Champions League matches return to the Ukrainian capital, and it will be hard to hype this match any more than it already has been. Leverkusen two weeks ago hammered star-studded Real Madrid 3-0 in Madrid while Dynamo had their 1-0 half-time advantage over AS Roma spoiled when a Roman fan threw something at the ref, causing the game to be cancelled. The aftermath? Real’s coach was sacked last week, and Dynamo were awarded a 3-0 win on Sept. 21 by UEFA. It’s going to be another crackling, cacophonous affair at the old stadium. Bring your beer helmet, if only for protection.
Olympic Stadium (55 Chervonoarmiyska, Respublikansky Stadion metro). 9:45 p.m. Tickets Hr 10 to Hr 50.
