The menswear boutique Brioni, named in honor of a small Italian island on the Adriatic Sea, is presently considered among the three leading brands producing prestigious classics. They claim to regularly work with world leaders, the heads of organizations and top businessmen (including Ukrainians). Therefore it sounds quite logical that the first Kyiv Brioni boutique opened on Sofiyivska Ploshcha, among other fancy boutiques and interiors. The two levels of the shop offer the high-grade Brioni collection, as well as a line of clothes for leisure and accessories. For the most demanding clients, there is a specially equipped VIP fitting room, where measures for your custom-made suit will be taken. The boutique was fully glorified as the “exclusive designer” of the legendary James Bond in the last five series of the film: the first thing that guests see at the entrance of the store is the exact same tuxedo as the one worn by Daniel Craig in “Casino Royal.” On the lining of the tux you can plainly see the numbers “007”constructed on fabric, and above a mortise pocket a tally, saying: “Brioni for James Bond.”

Among less conservative garments offered at Brioni are menswear from viscose, flax and cotton of more extravagant colors and a recognizable cut with clear, somewhat “concave” shoulders. Classic shirts, ties, bow ties, belts and other accessories for “common” men (not yet working for secret service) are presented in the most varied colors and shades. Outerwear – coats and raincoat – are sold at the shop throughout the whole year. Naturally, the brand tailoring for James Bond is not a cheap one: ties start at Hr 1,200, shirts go from Hr 2,500, and suits from Hr 10,000.
