After opening less than a year ago, Promzona has closed down for good. For a while there were rumors that the Soviet industrial-chic nightclub was only closing for a month for reconstruction. However, at a press conference on June 23, the management confirmed that the nightclub is shutting its doors permanently.

Ukrainian rock group Skryabin just finished filming its new music video “Negros Love Milk.” The video will also feature popular Ukrainian ballet troupe “Black Out.” According to management, the group is planning to broadcast it on Ukrainian TV in early August.

In addition to the Gabriela Casino and Millennium Strip Bar, the Dnipro Hotel now boasts a new dance club. Matrix features a 500-kilowatt ElectroVoice sound system and a high-end lighting system.

Ra, the long awaited addition to Podil’s nightlife scene, remains in development limbo. According to the management, the club hopes to open the week of July 2.

Garage offically opened its doors on June 24. As the name suggests, the club features an industrial design with a lengthy bar, table setting and a small dance floor that can host roughly 80 people. Garage is located in a basement beneath Nobu at 12 Shota Rustavelli.
