JAPANESE DRUMMING: Drums from the Land of the Rising Sun.
Traditional Japanese drums – taikoshu ikki – can either knock you back through the wall, or recall the faint sounds of a child’s heart beating in the womb. This fantastic drumming is still performed in festivals and Shinto temples across Japan. Now it’s being performed here. A wonderful treat for the senses.
