 Lleyton Hewitt has progressed to the second round of the men's tennis competition at the London Olympics after needing three sets to account for Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovsky. Hewitt, the only remaining Australian in the tournament after compatriot Bernard Tomic was knocked out in the first round by Kei Nishikori of Japan, overcame Stakhovsky 6-3 4-6 6-3 in one hour 44 minutes on Court 18 at the famous Wimbledon site.
