President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Paris coordinated efforts ahead of the final round of ministerial trilateral consultations Ukraine-EC-Russia on the implementation of Free Trade Agreement that will be held in Brussels on Dec. 1.
“Poroshenko and Juncker confirmed the irreversible character of an agreement on the establishment of deep and comprehensive free trade area between Ukraine and the EU starting from January 1, 2016,” a president’s press service said on Nov. 30.
Besides, the parties discussed Ukraine’s fulfillment of criteria necessary for the establishment of the visa-free regime with the EU, inter alia, progress in the implementation of anti-corruption reform.
