MOSCOW - The luggage belonging to passengers coming back to Russia from Egypt will be transported onboard special flights, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said in opening a meeting of a special government staff on Friday evening.

“We have to make additional decisions regarding luggage transportation. Except the very essential hand luggage, all other luggage will be transported on board special aircraft in a special procedure,” he said.

“We will work out special luggage storage and registration procedures within the next few hours,” he said.

“This is necessary to provide as much security to all passengers as possible,” he said.

“It is desirable to have minimum amount of belongings in the hand luggage, and special inspection procedures for hand luggage will be applied, which should also be treated with understanding,” he said.
