Some 170 people have been engaged in implementing the procedures related to the Malaysian Boeing crash, head of the Donetsk regional state administration Sergiy Taruta said.
“First of all, it is necessary to ensure the implementation of procedures related to the crash consequences. And for this it is necessary firstly to carry out all procedures, to find all bodies, and almost 70% bodies have already been found, taking into account that bodies were scattered and are hard to find. Around 170 people – law enforces, Emergencies Ministry employees, hunters and everyone ready to help – have been engaged,” the temporary website of the regional administration quoted Taruta as saying.
Forensic proceedings will be held in Kharkiv and relatives of the people dead will be sent there, Taruta said. “International group, which will conclude on this tragedy, will be sent there as well,” he said.
“The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) [group] of 30 people is currently on the way to the scene of the tragedy and Donetsk forensic experts are ready to work as well,” Taruta said. Donetsk laboratory is equipped with everything necessary to hold relevant tests, he said.
