Kharkiv - The group of international experts who came to Ukraine to investigate the Malaysian plane crash will leave Ukraine on Friday, Aug. 8, a source told Interfax.

The source said the experts are leaving Kharkiv for Eindhoven, the Netherlands, today and most experts will leave Ukraine in the next few days. The special equipment that was delivered to Kharkiv to perform forensic tests on the crash victim remains is also expected to leave, and only a small group of experts will stay in Ukraine, the source said.

The source said most of the experts are leaving Ukraine until a decision is made to resume the search at the crash site.

According to the official website of Kharkiv International Airport, the flight to Eindhoven is scheduled for 1300.

The press service for the Ukrainian Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities Sector Ministry earlier said the international experts had completed the first phase of the search for the debris of the Malaysian plane and the crash victim remains for security reasons.

The majority of the experts will leave Ukraine until a decision is made to continue the search, with the exception of the experts who will be in charge of communication and coordination, the ministry said.
