Moscow - The Netherlands will start removing the remains of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing that crashed near Donetsk in one or two weeks, self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) first deputy prime minister Andriy Purhin has told.
“Dutch representatives have come to Donetsk. Negotiations are in progress. They will be able to remove jetliner debris a week or two from today,” he said.
Purhin said the Dutch delegation had visited the crash site and examined the wreckage on Nov. 4.
“The debris was scattered over a vast area. The Dutch experts have visited the crash site but the collection of debris will not be quick,” Purhin added.
Purhin claimed the DPR combatants guaranteed security of the Dutch visitors.
“We will render comprehensive assistance to their mission and will not create any impediments. We are also providing their security,” he stated.
