Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and US Vice President Joseph Biden had a telephone conversation regarding the results of yesterday's emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
Poroshenko expressed gratitude for the consistent support of Ukraine by the United States, including during the recent Security Council meeting, the presidential press service reported.
The parties agreed that further coordination of international efforts is an important element in the fight against terrorism and dealing with the new challenges which Ukraine and the world are facing nowadays.
Biden confirmed that the US has clear evidence that the missile shot at the airplane flight MH17 was launched from the territory that is completely controlled by the pro-Russian militants.
