WASHINGTON - Minutes after Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 went down on July 17 in eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 on board, a Defense Intelligence Agency analyst sifting social-media communications got "a hit." The Russian-speaking analyst saw a posting from pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine, on Russia's VK social-media site, claiming to have shot down a Ukrainian military cargo plane.
