Kyiv Mayor and number one on the election list of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, Vitaliy Klychko, with his wife voted at a polling station during the extraordinary parliamentary election on Sunday, Oct. 26.
The spokesperson of the UDAR party Oksana Zinovyeva wrote on Twitter that Klitschko said after casting his ballot that “this early election is one of the key elements of the lustration process.”
“I voted for the new Ukrainian parliament… The new parliamentary majority should be formed for the sake of the implementation of reforms,” the politician said.
Klychko is the leader of the UDAR party.
