Dnipropetrovsk - Chairman of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Ihor Kolomoisky has said that he's not going to create any political projects.
At a press conference in Dnipropetrovsk on Sept. 27, he said that he wasn’t going to participate in any elections campaign.
“I’m currently not planning to create any groups, factions or influence groups. I am a state official. Petro Oleksiyovych [Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko] said he wasn’t going to fire me and thus we’re acting in the terms of the election process that we are used to,” he said.
Kolomoisky said that he wasn’t planning to become prime minister either.
According to Kolomoisky, his main achievement as Dnipropetrovsk governor is the preservation of peace in the region.
“The achievement of all the citizens of the region and our team is that we managed to preserve peace and tolerance in relations with each other, regardless of political choices,” he said.
Kolomoisky noted that he was an initiator of the region’s self defense force.
“To preserve order in our region, we engaged in the self defense of the region,” he said.
