As a journalist, Mustafa Nayyem investigated and exposed the shadowy underworld of Ukrainian oligarchs. As a civic activist, he is credited with helping ignite the Euromaidan Revolution that ousted the government in February. Now, Nayyem, a 33-year-old who often dons a T-shirt with the words "Ukraine - Fuck Corruption," wants to change the system from within, hoping to trade in his proverbial pen and signboard for a seat in parliament.
